The Millard Family

Capturing family love.

When you have had been in a lot of portrait sessions, it shows. When you love your mom and dad, it shows. When you love being with your mom and dad, it shows.

The Millard family chose a Short and Sweet Session in October to update their family's portraits at Silver Springs State Park in Yorkville, Il. Not only did that happen, but the love and connection that they share was also highlighted. They will look back with fond memories of these images each year as they view their beautiful portraits on their walls.

Creating the reminders of why life is worth living in the first place.

We want families know that they are the most important and valuable part of their session. They are the stars. They are the ones who need to be seen. And, they need to know that life is worth living because of their family. Because of this, we do our best to be sure the imagery will reflect that belief.

Letting kids be kids.

Children have their own set of rules, in a sense. They can let loose or be a little shy. One warm up that we do is "faces". Scary, happy, surprised, and silly. It helps kids warm up a bit, relax, and have a little fun. And, we often get a fun series of images that be displayed in the home!
