I know that many of you are not thinking about a portrait session right now. I know that the basic essentials like food, clothing, and shelter, and how bills are going to get paid are foremost on your minds.

It is like that for me, too. Still, I want something to look forward to. I want to be able to celebrate with families when the shelter in place is over. And, I really want to see families together celebrating with a portrait session so the moments that are captured will bring them joy.

Financially speaking, many consider a photo session a luxury. Something that is not "essential". But, I would beg to differ. I think it IS essential that families celebrate their love and beauty together and have the ability to look back on those memories every year. So, for me, having a portrait session every year to showcase the growth of your children, the slight differences in appearance, and the interaction between all of you is valuable and priceless.

The same thing applies to your children. Capturing every milestone, the differences in their appearance every year, and the expressions they show you is priceless and should be remembered.

And what better way to do that than through photography.
