We all need something fun!
How about a fun photo contest? Last year, we wrote a few blog posts about composition and posing. We wrote them to help with "tips" to create better imagery. Anyone can pick up a camera, put it on automatic, and take a picture. But, can many pose in a way that is flattering to the subject? Did you know there are certain "rules" that apply?
Most of the time, when someone takes a picture, everyone stands straight, or puts their hands on their hips and tilts their heads. You know what I mean! It is just a natural thing. But, there are many other ways to create a beautiful, flattering image of your subject.
So, during this down time, we would love to see your best poses!
Let's have a photo contest!
We are not giving away trophies, but we ARE giving away a COMPLIMENTARY 30 MINUTE PHOTO SESSION WITH ALL DIGITAL FILES INCLUDED.
Here's how it works.
- Choose and read one of our blog posts about posing-see links below
- Take a photo of yourself using the "tips" you learned
- Send the photo to studio@songsoflifephotography.com-along with YOUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER
Things to know.
- One submission per family/person
- Send images by April 13th
- Images will be posted to our facebook page (see link below) on April 14th
- Voting ends April 18th
"Vote" for your favorite image by commenting on it. Tell your friends! NOTE-ONE COMMENT PER PERSON/FAMILY
The image with the most comments will be the recipient of the complimentary session and will be notified by phone and/or email.
