I love creating opportunities for people to tell their stories in a meaningful and often fun, way. From the seasonal "A Very Merry Us" Christmas minis, to Portrait Days with our Personality and Legacy Portrait Sessions, my email community is the first to know, and the first to have a chance to reserve a spot.
Some sessions are only available for a limited time or have limited number of spaces, so being on the list means you won't have to worry about finding out after everything is already booked.

I am also going to share some things I have learned along the way. After being in the industry for over 35 years, I have learned what works, what doesn't and how to "paint with light". Of course, the industry is constantly changing with new gadgets, new ways to do things, and new equipment and I am constantly learning!
Here, you will find photography tips, insights and ideas that won't go out of style. Things that will help you feel confident and comfortable in front and in back of the camera.
We'll talk about:

- How to prepare
- Ways to photograph the people and moments you love
- Why certain photographs become the ones we treasure the most
- And some behind the scenes thinking that goes into creating meaningful photographs

Not only will we discuss this at our Discovery Call, but when you join the Songs of Life community, you will automatically receive my free photography style guide, filled with ideas to help you coordinate your clothing for your session.
Because choosing what to wear shouldn't be stressful! All you should have to do is make a few decisions and show up for your session.
Even if you are not having a session with me, this guide is extremely helpful!

I am all about helping people become the people they were created to be, providing the best service I can, and helping tell your family's beautiful story so you can create a legacy for your children. I often write blog posts that showcase these and other thoughts and I call them "The Musings of My Mind." Posts that are meant to encourage you in whatever season of life you are in. Posts that make you think critically, and posts that provide some positive words to help you thrive.
Blog posts such as, "You are Not a Just A", or "Does Anyone Fight Anymore?"
Stories that I find along the way that are inspiring to read. Behind the scenes stories of sessions that take your breath away.
My hope is also to help you ultimately connect more with your loved ones. To celebrate seasons you are in, and to tell your stories through photography.
