A Beautiful Life

Many of you know that since my move to Montana, many things have changed. Songs of Life has evolved into focusing more on telling every family's beautiful love story through the inspiration from their lives.

I have always believed that the "real life" moments that occur-the ones that are rarely seen, or are just natural expressions of a family's love-are the moments that tell the true story in every family's life.

A recent session held at Glen Lake Rotary Park (formerly known as the East Gallatin Recreation Area) with the Kamm family is the perfect example of a beautiful love story.

Ruby, our ever moving 17 month old, led the way as we paved our trail through the mud and snow. I usually gauge the time of the session on the youngest child, and in this case, it was Ruby! She lasted about an hour as we took a few "walk" breaks, hugs from mom and a few swings in the air from dad. The love expressed  between Travis and Leigh was incredibly beautiful, and the love they have for Ruby was plain to see.

On our initial call, when I learn more about the family and find out what is most important to them, Leigh told me how much they love to cuddle, laugh, and just love on each other. Our session included a mix of these life inspired moments and a few more posed ones as well. These images tell the story of their love AND shows the joy and love of life that Ruby ehibits every day.
