From Musician to the Medical Field

You meet a lot of people running a business. Meeting Julie, Serena's mom, originally began as a business transaction and relationship and quickly turned into a great friendship. Serena has been in front of the camera many times; from helping me with my CPP images to a photo op for her music performances. Serena's beautiful voice has graced many events in the community, and her passion, drive, and great work ethic will only take her to the top. She is off to college in South Carolina to study in the medical field and I know she will truly accomplish much!

And, do not forget having one image with your family.

I know seniors are ready to leave and go into their next season of life, but for most parents, this is a bittersweet moment. Parents are happy for their young adults and know that it is time for them to take the next step; whether that is learning a trade, college, or a job. We are extremely happy for them and only want the best. But, we are also sad. Sad because we know that we will miss them dearly when they leave, and miss the interactions we have with them every day.

Yes, we will always be their parents and they will always be our "children' but the relationship changes. The are grown adults and make their own decisions. We are no longer the primary "helpers" in their lives. So, get one or two images of the family together as this portrait will be something your parents will treasure forever.
