With Mother's Day just around the corner, who is thinking about having a portrait session to celebrate?

How many of you have a portrait of you and your mom? I, unfortunately do not. My mom passed away in 1988 at the young age of 50, and how I wish I had just ONE portrait of her and I together. I have a few prints of her alone, but none of the two of us.

Last week, Darcy and I had the joy of photographing mothers and sons at a St. Patrick's Themed Mother Son school dance in our hometown of Oswego. What FUN! Almost everyone was decked out in St. Patty's clothing-fun hats, shirts, and even shoes! And, some came dressed up on amazing formal wear.

The point is-these moms took their sons on a "date" and had a portrait taken with their son. Years from now, they will look back on the print with fond memories and remember the special bond they share.
